9th Annual Pizza With Police Brings Neurodiverse Community Together
The Chandler Police Department’s 9th Annual Pizza With Police brought our neurodiverse community together for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and fun.
What began as a simple idea from a parent of a child with special needs has grown into one of one of the departments most meaningful annual events. Each year, the event provides a relaxed, welcoming space where families can meet officers, ask questions, and build trust through positive, personal interactions.
At its core, Pizza With Police aims to strengthen relationships with our neurodiverse community so individuals feel more comfortable and confident engaging with officers, especially if they ever face a stressful or critical situation.
The Chandler Police Department extends it’s sincere gratitude to our valued partners Sharing Down Syndrome of Arizona, the Autism Society of Greater Phoenix, Papa Johns Pizza, and All-City Towing for their continued support and generosity in making this event a success.
