Computer Crimes Unit
The Computer Crimes Unit is responsible for investigating internet-related crimes. This includes internet crimes against children, Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), and network intrusions. Additionally, the Unit performs computer forensic investigations which entail examining computers and components, digital storage media and cell phones in an attempt to identify and seize evidence. The Unit is comprised of five investigators and a sergeant – all specially trained in this field.
