The Chandler Police Department is now a participating agency in the Police Foundation’s Police Data Initiative.  Through the Police Data Initiative, the general public can now readily access open data information generated by the Chandler Police Department.

Take The Pledge Against Distracted Driving

The Chandler Police Department, Chandler Fire, Health, & Medical Department, Safe and Secure, Inc., and Ocotillo Friends recently launched a Distracted Driving Campaign to the Chandler community. The campaign is in response to an increase in traffic collisions due to distracted driving.

Tips for a Safe Holiday Season

Chandler Police Department Needs Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspects

On October 15, 2016, around 11:30PM, two males committed an armed robbery against a couple outside the Red Robin located at 3420 W. Chandler Boulevard. Traffic Unit Receives GOHS Grant For DUI Enforcement

The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Unit has received a $47,000 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) to fund a new DUI enforcement vehicle. This vehicle will be assigned to the DUI enforcement squad for the enforcement of DUI and other roadway impairment.

Bicyclist Killed in Collision

On Saturday, May 9, 2020 around 9:00AM a 77-year-old male bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on Hunt Highway near the Val Vista Road intersection. The bicyclist, a Sun Lakes resident, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
