The Senior Lock box program is offered as a courtesy to the residents of Chandler.  The program provides lock boxes for emergency personnel to gain access to your home after being summoned there for emergency purposes. In the event of a time sensitive situation (person not breathing, fire, etc. ), emergency personnel may not have the time to use the lock box system and will gain entry with the fastest means possible. Every effort will be given to utilize the lock box when time permits.

In order to register you must meet the following requirements:

  • City of Chandler resident
  • Senior 62 or older and or:
    • Must live alone and have a chronic illness, fall risk or history of emergency calls
  • If you don’t live alone, both must have a chronic illness, fall risk or history of emergency calls
  • The lock box must be able to hang on the screen door and visible to emergency personnel
  • Or you must be referred by a Chandler Police Officer,  Chandler Fire, or medical professional.
