Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck Twice

On December 11, 2019, 23-year-old Noe Rosales De Jesus died as a result of injuries sustained in a crash on December 8, 2019 at the intersection of Arizona Ave. & Willis Rd.
On December 4, 2019 around 3AM, 25-year-old Jonathan Stuber was arrested after a patrol officer saw Stuber as he attempted to burglarize a vehicle.
On Sunday, November 24, 2019 around 5pm, patrol officers were sent to the 200 block of South Kyrene Road for the report of a male slumped over the steering wheel of a running vehicle. When officers arrived on-scene they discovered the vehicle, a white 2017 Subaru, had been reported stolen earlier in the day with 25-year-old Cesar Limon asleep behind the steering wheel.
The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Section will participate in the annual East Valley Holiday DUI Task Force, which begins on Friday, November 29, 2019 and runs through New Year’s Eve. The Chandler Police Department has received a $195,350 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) to fund numerous traffic safety related programs for the period beginning October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.
On November 12, 2019 around 2am, Chad Colyer, Desmond Ortiz, Jr., Jorge Hernandez, & a juvenile male were arrested after burglarizing vehicles & fleeing from police.
The DUI Abatement Council has awarded the Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Section with a $20,000 enforcement grant. This grant will fund officers to work DUI enforcement for the remainder of the year when impaired driving increases.
The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Section will hold a DUI Task Force on Friday, September 27, 2019 and Saturday, September 28, 2019 during Oktoberfest. Officers will also conduct the Know Your Limit educational awareness program at the Festival on both days.
On Monday, September 23, 2019 around Midnight, 39-year-old Jennifer Bryan was arrested for false reporting after she called 911 to report a shooting inside her residence.
