Motorcyclist Succumbs to Injuries from Collision

On Sunday, December 8, 2019, around 4:15 PM, 23-year-old Noe Rosales De Jesus, a Chandler resident, was involved in a crash at the intersection of Arizona Avenue and Willis Road in Chandler. De Jesus was the operator and lone rider on a white 2005 Suzuki motorcycle when he collided with a 2011 Honda Odyssey minivan.  De Jesus sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

On Wednesday, December 11, 2019 around 11:30AM, De Jesus died of his injuries.

De Jesus was wearing a helmet but did not have a motorcycle endorsement on his driver’s license.  Investigators continue to examine evidence to see if the speed of the motorcycle was a factor in this collision.  No impairment was detected on either vehicle operator and no citations have been issued at this time.
