Ostrich Festival DUI Task Force & Know Your Limit Campaign

The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Section will hold a DUI Task Force beginning Friday, March 8, 2019, through Sunday, March 10, 2019. Officers will also conduct the Know Your Limit educational awareness program at the Ostrich Festival on the same dates.

Two Suspects Apprehended in Residential Burglary

On Monday February 25th, 26-year-old Adrian Nevarez and 18-year-old Vincent Stewart burglarized the residence at 297 S. 95th St. Both were booked into the Maricopa County Jail on one count of 2nd Degree Burglary and one count of 1st Degree Trespass.

Chandler Dad Arrested for Sex Offenses against Babysitter

On Monday, February 11, 2019 41-year-old Joseph Peter Sisemore was arrested at 180 N. Dobson Rd. on multiple counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor. He was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on 11 counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor.

Detectives Need Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

On Monday, January 21, 2019 around 7:15pm, an unknown white male committed an armed robbery at the Hungry Howie’s Pizza located at 1909 E. Chandler Blvd. Investigators need help identifying the suspect.

Citizens Academy Registration is Now Open

The Department’s Citizen Police Academy is a free program designed for citizens of Chandler and members of the business community an inside look at their Police Department and law enforcement operations and is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the operations and resources of our Department.

Registration Now Open for Our Next Citizens Police Academy

Registration is now open for the Department’s next Citizens Police Academy.  The 12-week academy begins February 13th and runs through May 8th.  Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Department’s Main Station, located at 250 E. Chicago St. 

Know the Law Before Using Fireworks

Permissible consumer fireworks may be used now through January 3, 2019 and are restricted to private property, with the permission of the property owner. Setting off permissible consumer fireworks on public property – such as city streets, sidewalks, or parks – is not legal.
