Two Suspects Apprehended in Residential Burglary

On Monday February 25th, 26-year-old Adrian Nevarez and 18-year-old Vincent Stewart burglarized the residence at 297 S. 95th St. As the two were staging items in the backyard, the first Chandler police officer arrived on-scene. Nevarez and Stewart fled to a nearby backyard and were eventually located hiding in a storage unit. During his apprehension, Nevarez was bitten by a police K-9.

Investigators estimate Nevarez and Stewart staged property valued at over $6,000 in value to include electronics and firearms. Both suspects were booked into the Maricopa County Jail on one count of 2nd Degree Burglary and one count of 1st Degree Trespass.
