On Monday, January 21, 2019 around 7:15pm, an unknown white male committed an armed robbery at the Hungry Howie’s Pizza located at 1909 E. Chandler Blvd. The suspect entered the restaurant wearing a gray hoodie with a black beanie cap, black ski mask covering his face, and carried a small black handgun in his right hand. Motioning with his right hand, the suspect ordered an employee to give him money from a cash register.
The suspect fled in either a gray or lighter blue Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep Wrangler was backed into the parking stall, which was in front of the business. The spare tire mounted to the rear of the Jeep Wrangler was not covered and it appears this spare tire has white lettering on the side wall.
