Manager Carole Speranza

Carole began her career at the Chandler Police Department in 2013 after working 17 years in a practice management role for a large emergency physician group in Scottsdale. She brought to the Department years of knowledge and experience in Project Management, Productivity Efficiencies, and Fiscal Administration. In 2017, Carole was promoted to Management Assistant to the Chief of Police where she demonstrated strong leadership and organizational management skills. In 2019, Carole was promoted to Police Field Operations Supervisor, and in 2021, promoted Operations Manager.

As the Operations Manager, Carole is responsible to oversee the Department’s Fleet Division to include the purchasing and management of over 300 Police vehicles and equipment; renovations, upkeep, and maintenance of the Department’s six facilities; the Department’s Volunteers in Policing program; the Quartermaster office; sworn staffing and schedules; the Department’s payroll, time keeping, and personnel management software; Special Event & Extra Duty staffing; and the management of Field Operations’ 3.2-million-dollar budget.

Carole has been actively involved in the Community, serving on ICAN’s “The Henry’s” board for several years, participating at various Department and City events like “For Our City”, the “Chandler Water Festival”, and the “Public Safety Fair and Open House”. Carole also spent time in the CUSD classrooms as parent volunteer, room mom, and served on the PTO and Site Council Boards.

Carole made the move from healthcare to public safety due to a desire to give back to the community where she lives and be involved in shaping the culture and mission of the Chandler Police Department. Her primary focus is on the protection of the citizens of Chandler and the safety of the Officers of the Chandler Police Department.

Carole graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies and minors in Business Management and Communications.
