The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Section will participate in the annual East Valley Holiday DUI Task Force, which begins on Friday, November 29, 2019 and runs through New Year’s Eve. Please remember to always wear your seatbelt and call for a ride when alcohol consumption is part of your holiday celebration.
The Chandler Police Department has received a $195,350 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) to fund numerous traffic safety related programs for the period beginning October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.

The DUI Abatement Council has awarded the Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Section with a $20,000 enforcement grant. This grant will fund officers to work DUI enforcement for the remainder of the year when impaired driving increases.

Beginning Sunday, September 15, 2019, through Saturday, September 21, 2019, the Department’s Traffic Section will conduct a citywide campaign to enforce the state’s child seat and seatbelt laws.
On Saturday, September 7, 2019 Adriana Gamboa & Gary Lynn were arrested for trespassing at a home for-sale in the 400 block of North Halsted Court.
