Chandler Couple Arrested after Trespassing in Home For-Sale

On Saturday, September 7, 2019 around 5PM, Chandler patrol officers were sent to the 400 block of North Halsted Court for the report of possible residential squatters.  When officers arrived at the home they discovered a stroller, bags of clothing, food and other personal items scattered throughout the house.  Contact was made with 29-year-old Gary Lynn and 26-year-old Adriana Gamboa, who were inside the residence with Adriana’s two young children, aged two and four.

The vacant home is for sale through an online real-estate company where potential buyers can access and view the house by registering and receiving a code.   Lynn and Gamboa claimed they found the home unsecured though Gamboa had the required app on her phone to receive an entry code.  While inside the home, Gamboa showered and bathed her two small children.

Lynn and Gamboa were arrested and booked into the Chandler-Gilbert Unified Jail on one count of Trespassing.  Gamboa was further charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.  The Department of Child Safety was called to take custody of Gamboa’s children.

The Chandler Police Department would like to remind everyone to report suspicious activity to local law enforcement.  If you see something, say something!
