The Chandler Police Department, Chandler Fire, Health, & Medical Department, Safe and Secure, Inc., and Ocotillo Friends recently launched a Distracted Driving Campaign to the Chandler community. The campaign is in response to an increase in traffic collisions due to distracted driving.

On October 15, 2016, around 11:30PM, two males committed an armed robbery against a couple outside the Red Robin located at 3420 W. Chandler Boulevard. The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Unit has received a $47,000 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) to fund a new DUI enforcement vehicle. This vehicle will be assigned to the DUI enforcement squad for the enforcement of DUI and other roadway impairment.
