A 45-year-old Tempe resident was arrested for child molestation and other crimes dating back to 1998 and 2004.

The Chandler Police Department, Chandler Fire, Health, & Medical Department, Safe and Secure, Inc., and Ocotillo Friends recently launched a Distracted Driving Campaign to the Chandler community. The campaign is in response to an increase in traffic collisions due to distracted driving.

When you’re out shopping this year, remember to conceal any items of value in your vehicle. Remember where you parked and which door or store entrance you utilized when shopping at a mall. Park your vehicle in a well-lit area and, whenever possible, avoiding shopping alone.

On October 15, 2016, around 11:30PM, two males committed an armed robbery against a couple outside the Red Robin located at 3420 W. Chandler Boulevard. Detectives from the Robbery/ Homicide Unit are actively searching for these two suspects. Please view the attached video and photographs of the suspects.

The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Unit has received a $47,000 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) to fund a new DUI enforcement vehicle. This vehicle will be assigned to the DUI enforcement squad for the enforcement of DUI and other roadway impairment.
