Tempe Man Accused of Child Molestation

In October of 2016, the Chandler Police Department was contacted regarding accusations of child molestation by Michael Guest, a 45-year-old Tempe resident.  These alleged crimes date back to 1998 and 2004 and involve two male victims. On December 20, 2016, Mr. Guest was arrested by detectives from the Department’s Criminal Apprehension Unit.

From 1995 to 1999, Michael Guest was employed by the Chandler Unified School District as an instructional assistant at Andersen Junior High School.  Mr. Guest then worked as a temporary employee with the City of Chandler from 2000 to 2002 as an after school program coordinator at Andersen Junior High School.  During this timeframe, Michael Guest also worked as a youth basketball referee throughout the East Valley.

Michael Guest is currently being held at the Maricopa County Jail on six counts of Molestation of a Child, three counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor, two counts of Kidnapping, and one count of Sexual Assault.
