On Saturday, May 9, 2020 around 9:00AM a 77-year-old male bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on Hunt Highway near the Val Vista Road intersection. The bicyclist, a Sun Lakes resident, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

On Saturday, May 2, 2020 around 4:00PM an unknown adult male sexually assaulted an adult female at an apartment near McQueen Road and Germann Road. Silent Witness is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of the suspect.

On Monday, April 27, 2020, 35-year-old Rigoberto Jimenez shot three Chandler police officers. Jimenez was apprehended & all officers are expected to make a full recovery.
