Know Your Limit Available at Oktoberfest

The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Section will offer the Know Your Limit educational awareness program at Oktoberfest in downtown Chandler on Saturday, September 29, 2018. The Traffic Section will also conduct saturation patrols throughout the area on the same evening. Please remember to always wear your seatbelt, drive defensively, and call for a ride when alcohol consumption is a part of your celebration.  Please, get home safe.

Bank Robbery Suspect Apprehended

On September 17, 2018, 41-year-old Allan Doty was arrested in Glendale for his alleged role in three bank robberies in Chandler and Mesa. Doty was booked into the Maricopa County Jail. Thank you to those in the community whose actions, observations, and statements played a part in Doty’s identification and apprehension.

Detectives Need Help Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

On Tuesday, September 4, 2018 around 1:45pm, an unknown white male committed a bank robbery at the Bank of America located at 3410 W. Chandler Blvd. The same suspect struck again on Monday, September 10, 2018, robbing the Compass Bank located at 3001 N. Alma School Rd. Silent Witness is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of this suspect.

Alcohol Awareness Offered at Rockin’ Taco Street Fest

The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Section, in conjunction with the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, will be at the Rockin’ Taco Street Fest in Downtown Chandler on Saturday, September 15, 2018 to offer the Know Your Limit educational awareness program. Saturation patrols from members of the DUI Squad will occur as well.

Chandler Police Need Help Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

On September 4, 2018, around 1:44 PM, a male suspect entered the Bank of America located at 3410 W. Chandler Boulevard and committed a bank robbery. Detectives Need Help Identifying Theft Suspect

Between August 3, 2018 and August 9, 2018 an unknown Hispanic female removed over $4,000 worth of merchandise from the Coach Store inside the Chandler Fashion Center. Chandler Police Looking for G.A.I.N. Participants

The Chandler Police Department is seeking out neighborhood groups interested in this year’s annual G.A.I.N. event, which is Saturday, October 20th from 3pm to 8pm. The kick-off for the G.A.I.N. event is Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Department’s Main Station located at 250 E. Chicago Street. 

Chandler Police & Fire Department Work Together to Save a Life

On August 3, 2018, 58-year-old Scott Eckenrode was watching television with his wife Sue when Scott’s heart suddenly stopped.  Sue immediately called 911 and began CPR on her husband. Thanks to the quick work of Officer Carl Schott and members of the Chandler Fire Department, Scott survived and is on his way to a full recovery.
