Detectives Need Help Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

On Tuesday, September 4, 2018 around 1:45pm, an unknown white male committed a bank robbery at the Bank of America located at 3410 W. Chandler Blvd. The suspect passed a note to a bank teller and was given an undisclosed amount of cash.  In this robbery, the suspect was wearing a light blue long-sleeve button-up shirt with a red shirt underneath, and an orange and black baseball cap.

The same suspect struck again on Monday, September 10, 2018, robbing the Compass Bank located at 3001 N. Alma School Rd.  Using the same M.O. as the previous robbery, the suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, only to discard a portion of it at a nearby bus stop.  The suspect wore the same orange and black baseball cap but, in this robbery, he wore an orange short-sleeve shirt with a long-sleeve gray or dark green shirt underneath, and khaki pants.

Investigators believe there are a number of potential witnesses to the suspect’s behavior at the bus stop.  If you have any information regarding this, please contact Silent Witness at (480) WITNESS (948-6377).  Silent Witness is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of this suspect.
