Chandler Police to Conduct Memorial Day DUI Task Force
The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Unit will conduct a DUI Task Force over the Memorial Day weekend. The task force will run from Friday, May 27, 2016 through Monday, May 30, 2016. The DUI Abatement Council provided grant funding for the event.
Chandler Police Traffic Unit Receives Grant for Occupant Protection Enforcement Program
As part of its ongoing effort to save lives on Arizona’s roadways, the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) is partnering with the Chandler Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies to enforce Arizona’s seat belt and child safety seat laws. The Chandler Police Department received $10,000 from GOHS to fund the enforcement mobilization in Chandler, which will run from Monday, May 23, 2016, through Sunday, June 5, 2016.
