Chandler Police Increase Presence on Chandler Roads to Enforce Seatbelt Laws

CHANDLER, AZ⎯ The Chandler Police Department Traffic Section has been awarded grant funding from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS). This grant, specifically allocated for the Buckle Up Arizona …It’s the Law! campaign. The initiative will be instrumental in our enforcement efforts from May 20, 2024 – June 2, 2024, as a part of the National Click It or Ticket Campaign. During this period, additional officers will be deployed on the Chandler roadways to enforce the occupant protection laws in the state of Arizona, particularly focusing on seatbelt use and child restraint devices. We cannot stress enough the importance of buckling up and ensuring the safety of our children in their car seats.
