Ms Johns was located Tuesday afternoon, July 4th around 2pm. She was in her vehicle at Kiwanis Park and was located by the Tempe Police Department. Ms. Johns was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
We are currently working a missing person call. On Monday, July 3, 2017, On 7/3/17 around noon, Brenda Johns, a 63 year old African American female, left her residence in the area of Ray Rd. and McQueen Rd. informing her family she was leaving to visit a friend. Brenda never arrived at her friends house. Brenda’s family reported her missing around 11pm last night.
Brenda drives a Gray in color, 2008 Chevrolet Malibu, bearing Arizona license plate AAE9550, with one hubcap. Brenda suffers from confusion and some memory issues and is on medication for numerous medical issues. It does not appear Brenda has access to her medication. Brenda and her vehicle have been entered into a national database as missing and endangered.
Brenda was last seen wearing a black and white patterned leggings and a black sweater. She walks with a cane, wears prescription glasses, and is missing some of her front teeth.
