The Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Unit will host a civilian motorcycle training course on Saturday, April 2, 2016, in the parking lot of Hamilton High School located at 3700 S. Arizona Ave. This training program, funded by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, is designed to educate the public on the safe operation of a motorcycle. The course will be administered and facilitated by members of the Department’s Traffic Unit.
Riders of all levels of experience are encouraged to sign up for this course. Applicants must provide their own motorcycle and safety equipment and have the proper endorsements on their driver’s license. This training is free of charge but is limited to the first 40 eligible applicants.
