The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety has awarded the Chandler Police Department’s Traffic Unit a $14,924 grant towards a civilian motorcycle training course. This training is slated for December 12, 2015 in the parking lot of Hamilton High School located at 3700 S. Arizona Ave. and is designed to educate the public on the safe operation of a motorcycle. The course will be administered and facilitated by members of the Departments Traffic Unit.
Riders of all levels of experience are encouraged to sign up for this course. Potential applicants must provide their own motorcycle and safety equipment and have the proper endorsements on their driver’s license. This training is only provided for the first 30 applicants.
