Sgt. Greg Howarth was flagged down by a concerned citizen in the 1800 E. Block of Powell Way who was trying to capture a loose dog. Sgt. Howarth used some Milk-Bone® Dog Biscuits and managed to get a leash on the K-9 friend, then transported him to the 1st Pet Veterinary Hospital located at 1233 W. Warner Rd. in Chandler. The K-9 had a microchip implanted so he will soon be reunited with his family.
