You may have heard that in the coming months our community will conduct a 2015 Special Census to get an updated population count. The potential for increased state shared revenues would be available for the City’s public safety, parks and recreation, transportation services, libraries, traffic engineering, street maintenance and repaving, and other services for the citizens of Chandler.
However, to do this, WE NEED YOU!! Local residents are needed to work on the 2015 Special Census that will benefit our wonderful community — a little extra money just in time for the holidays! The U.S. Census Bureau pays Enumerators $16.25 per hour, plus mileage and paid training.
Our 2015 Special Census will last from approximately October 1 through November 25. Enumerators are asked to work 25–40 hours each week, usually evenings and weekends.
What do you need to do to be part of this wonderful opportunity?
Print out and complete the application then bring your completed application to one of the following registration sessions listed below, and we will get you scheduled to te.st with the U.S. Census Bureau in August. Applications will only be accepted at the dates and times listed below.
