On March 17th around 11:00 AM the person in the photo was involved in the theft of a wallet from the victims purse. This most likely happened while she was shopping at Albertson’s located at 4060 W. Ray Road. The suspect then used the victim’s debit card at the Walgreen’s located at 4949 W. Chandler Boulevard on this same date at about 11:40 AM, first attempting to purchase two $500 gift cards. When asked for photo identification and when asked for her identification the suspect said she didn’t have any so the purchase of the gift cards was denied. The suspect
did purchase a pack of cigarettes and a box of Kleenex with the stolen debit card.
The suspect is described as a Black female in her 40’s to early 50’s, medium to heavy set wearing a short sleeved shirt and wearing gold bracelets on her right wrist. She was wearing dark colored sunglasses and her hair was cut short with the back of
her hair cut close to her head.
Remember, when shopping, close your purse and use the child straps in the cart to secure your purse if you leave it in the shopping cart while shopping. Always keep your cart in front of you while shopping, never walk away from it or in front of it, losing sight of your purse. Remain vigilant, criminals are everywhere waiting to take advantage of your inattention.
