On March 22, 2012 at 6:30 pm a fatal traffic collision occurred at the intersection of Pecos Road and Emmett Drive when a silver 2008 Hyundai two-door passenger vehicle, driven by 18-year-old Jonathan Ryan, was struck by a tan 2003 Ford Explorer. Jonathan was transported to a local hospital in extremely critical condition and pronounced deceased a short time later. This investigation is ongoing.
Investigators believe an individual operating a motorcycle may have witnessed the collision. This person was making a left turn from northbound Emmett Drive onto westbound Pecos Road when the collision occurred. Investigators would like to speak with this person to see if he or she can provide any information about this tragic event.
