On November 17, 2011 around 11:00 am, a 16-year-old female Basha High School student came forward and disclosed an incident to the school’s administration. The student advised that on November 9, 2011 a male teacher, Ricardo Moreno (51 years old), inappropriately touched two female students while they were on campus. The student reported that Moreno used her hand to touch the breast of another 16-year-old female student. Upon learning of the incident, the school’s administration immediately notified the school resource officer. Moreno was arrested on two counts of sexual abuse.
