The Chandler Police Motorcycle Traffic Team has received funding from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to purchase moving radar. The two moving radar units will be utilized by motors to assist with speed and DUI enforcement. The moving radar allows motor officers to look for violations while following drivers and monitor speed infractions at the same time. Previous to this the motors only had stationary radar.
