Chandler Police Detectives are currently investigating the death of a child at 2253 W. Boston Street in Chandler. The 3-year-old child was found on the front seat of the family car, while parked in the driveway of the home.
April Carpenter, (24) was inside her home when she realized her 3-year-old son was missing. After searching the house and checking with neighbors, Carpenter called police to report her son was missing. A responding officer searched the vehicles at the home and found the child on the front seat of the family car, unresponsive. The officer began CPR and Chandler Fire personnel responded. The child was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The case remains under investigation at this time.
