Dia de Los Muertos Event- City of Chandler

The City of Chandler is proud to partner with Creative + Cultural to produce its first-ever Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) event.

Día de los Muertos is a festive Mexican holiday for families and friends to celebrate their deceased loved ones. Ways to celebrate include making colorful altars (ofrendas) in their homes to honor those who have passed and ensure they are never forgotten. The altars are decorated with colorful flowers, candles, photos, food and more. The Chandler Fire and Police departments also are creating a beautiful altar to pay tribute to their fallen officers and firefighters.

The event will feature entertainment, food, arts & crafts and more! The evening will close with a community procession to celebrate our loved ones. Join us!
