The Chandler Police Department is announcing a 10-day Pedestrian and Bicyclist Safety Enforcement detail throughout the City of Chandler from June 1 to June 10, 2024.
As summer is in full swing, the Chandler Police Department Traffic Unit will focus on identifying and addressing behaviors that endanger bicyclists and pedestrians. Officers from the Traffic Unit, both on motorcycles and in unmarked vehicles, will be actively targeting dangerous driving behaviors that threaten the safety of our community members.
Our primary concern is the safety of all pedestrians and bicyclists, especially school-aged children. We are committed to ensuring their safe travel to and from their destinations every day.
