On Monday, January 21, 2019 around 7:15pm, an unknown white male committed an armed robbery at the Hungry Howie’s Pizza located at 1909 E. Chandler Blvd. The suspect entered the restaurant wearing a gray hoodie with a black beanie cap, black ski mask covering his face, and carried what investigators believed was a small black handgun in his right hand. He fled from the restaurant in a Jeep Wrangler.
On May 24, 2019 around 6:30am, 28-year-old Shane Matthew Kelley was arrested without incident at his Chandler residence for his alleged role in this robbery. Kelley was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on one count of Armed Robbery (13-1904a(1)).
