Detectives Need Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

On Saturday, March 16, 2019 around 7:00am, an unknown male committed an armed robbery at the Safeway grocery store located at 4900 S. Alma School Rd. The suspect forced a cashier at the customer service desk to surrender an undisclosed amount of money from the register.  Then, the suspect directed a second cashier to the cash office and obtained additional monies.

Two weeks later on March 29, 2019 around 6:30am, the same suspect robbed the Albertson’s grocery store located at 4060 W. Ray Rd.  In this incident, the suspect collected money from multiple registers. The Phoenix Police Department is also investigating a grocery store robbery with a similar suspect description and Modus Operandi.

The suspect is described as a light skinned Hispanic male in his late 20s with very short hair, a mustache, and goutee.  He is around five-foot six-inches tall with a thin build.  During the robbery, the suspect used a very soft, low-tone voice.
