On Wednesday, August 8th, 2018, the Chandler Police and Chandler Fire Department will celebrate the grand opening of the Chandler Public Safety Training Center. This facility is located at 3550 S. Dobson Road in Chandler. All are invited to attend this event.
Having the Public Safety Training Center in a centralized location will be a great resource that will allow joint training between Chandler Police Officers and Chandler Firefighters. Sharing this facility will also be a cost saving measure by having both agencies split the costs. This facility will also allow both departments to host world class training.
The grand opening begins at 9 am with a ribbon cutting and tours of the facility to follow. Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny, Chandler Police Chief Sean Duggan and Chandler Fire Chief Tom Dwiggins will be in attendance along with other city directors and members of the city council.
