Photo Enforcement Cameras Activated at Chandler Intersection

On Monday, May 1, 2017, photo enforcement cameras at the intersection of McQueen and Queen Creek Road will be activated.  The intersection will be monitored by photo enforcement cameras at the approaches for northbound and southbound traffic.  Cameras are new to this location.

Beginning May 1, 2017, violators captured on the photo enforcement cameras at this intersection will receive a warning in the mail for their respective violation(s).  Warnings will continue at this intersection through May 31, 2017.  On Thursday, June 1, 2017, the photo enforcement cameras at this intersection will be in full operation, and citations will be generated for speeding and red light violations.

In all, a total of 12 Chandler intersections are monitored with photo enforcement cameras under the City of Chandler’s photo enforcement vendor, American Traffic Solutions.  All of these intersections are monitored for red light violations and speeding violations. Five intersections became fully operational on June 20, 2016.  Two additional intersections became fully operational on October 1, 2016.  Four more intersections became fully operational on December 1, 2016.  They are listed below:

  • Eastbound Ray Road at Alma School Road
  • Westbound & Southbound Warner Road at Alma School Road
  • Westbound Chandler Boulevard at Kyrene Road
  • Southbound & Eastbound McClintock Drive at Ray Road
  • Westbound Chandler Boulevard at Dobson Road
  • Westbound & Southbound Alma School Road at Queen Creek Road
  • Eastbound Ray Road at Rural Road
  • Southbound Arizona Avenue at Warner Road
  • Southbound Arizona Avenue at Ray Road
  • Southbound Arizona Avenue at Ocotillo Road
  • Southbound & Westbound Dobson Road at Ray Road
  • Southbound & Northbound McQueen Road at Queen Creek Road
