On October 15, 2016, around 11:30PM, two males committed an armed robbery against a couple outside the Red Robin located at 3420 W. Chandler Boulevard. During the commission of the crime, one suspect may have displayed a firearm. An undisclosed amount of cash and other property was stolen.
After robbing the couple, the suspects entered a nearby Walmart. While they were not apprehended at the store, investigators were able to obtain video surveillance of both suspects.
The first suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, around 5’10” tall, and 15-20 years of age. He has long, black, curly hair, possibly a mustache, and was wearing a black baseball cap with the word ‘Smoke’ written on the hat. The second suspect is described as a dark-skinned male, around 5’8” tall, and the same age range as the first suspect. He had short black hair and a dark-colored shirt.
