On Monday, August 29, 2016, detectives from the Department’s Computer Forensics Unit arrested 66-year-old Edward “Ted” Bachelder on allegations of possession of child pornography. Mr. Bachelder’s arrest was the culmination of a three-month investigation. Mr. Bachelder, a Chandler resident, was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor (A.R.S. 13-3553).
