Cops ‘n Kids Promotes Literacy

On Monday, November 23, 2015 Cops ‘n Kids delivered approximately 1,000 books to A New Leaf of Mesa, UMOM New Day Centers of Phoenix, and the Chandler Housing Youth Services.  These three non-profit organizations have an assortment of learning platforms for children from reading to after school programs.  These donated books will be a valued addition to further continue these programs.

Cops ‘n Kids is a non-profit coalition comprised of law enforcement professionals, librarians, teachers, speech therapists, youth services, and social service groups.  Since its inception in 2013, Cops ‘n Kids utilizes its members to distribute books to children in need.  To date, Cops ‘n Kids has donated over 14,000 books to the Chandler community and throughout the East Valley.
