Historic Golf Clubs Stolen from Chandler Museum Storage Facility

The Chandler Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect(s) involved in a burglary to a City of Chandler Museum storage facility.  Sometime between December 1, 2014 and December 15, 2014 unknown assailant(s) forced entry into the locked facility and took golf clubs that once belonged to Dr. A.J. Chandler, the city’s founder.  Along with the golf clubs, the perpetrator(s) also stole Dr. Chandler’s golf bag, and a bayonet from World War I.

These items have an historic value; they are rare, and unique to the City of Chandler.  If you have any information regarding the identification of the suspect or suspects involved, please contact the Chandler Police Department at (480) 782-4130 or Silent Witness at (480) WITNESS (948-6377).  Silent Witness is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of these suspects.  If you call, please reference Chandler Police Report #2014-135504.
