The Chandler Police Department is hosting its annual open house at the Chandler Heights Substation located at 4040 E. Chandler Heights Rd. on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Officers will be on hand from the Department’s Patrol, Special Assignment, and K-9 Units. Police vehicles will also be on display with a demonstration from the K-9’s and their handlers.
Representatives from the Environmental Education Center and the Arizona Game and Fish Department will also be in attendance. During this time the Game and Fish Department will host their third annual urban fishing clinic and outdoor safety event. This event will also showcase Veterans Oasis Park, which surrounds the Substation and Environmental Education Center.
