February 6, 2011, following an unrelated traffic stop at approximately 8:30 P.M., officers noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the residence of 784 S. Jesse Street.
The patrol officers obtained and served a search warrant for the location. Officers located a large marijuana grow operation where 332 potted marijuana plants and other equipment to grow and cultivate marijuana were seized. Sir Jorien Dwayne Marcette Jackson, a twenty-five-year old Chandler resident, was located in the home and was booked for possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, producing marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
This is the largest marijuana grow operation seizure in Chandler by patrol officers. For further information contact Detective David Ramer
