The Chandler Police Department Community Resources Unit will be hosting the annual police open house and car show at the main station located at 250 E. Chicago Street, on Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
The event will feature a car show, K-9 demonstrations, free VIN etching, free face painting and a bounce house for children. Members of the Chandler Police Department will be on hand to talk with citizens and explain the different enforcement units of the department.
Hourly tours of the Police Department are scheduled, we recommend signing up ahead of time, for this fun and informative family event.
This year the Chandler Police has teamed up with the Salvation Army to sponsor a canned food drive. Traditionally this is the time of year that food shelves have been depleted and your contributions will help restock the shelves of much needed items.
