The Chandler Police Department has received funding from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) to purchase Phlebotomy supplies which will be used to collect blood samples from impaired drivers relating to DUI enforcement which is vital in the collection of blood evidence for prosecution of DUI’s. The grant and the monthly enforcement began in December 2010 and will run through September 2011.
